Australian self-service ticketing platform Megatix has partnered with Beyond The Valley, a multi-day music festival presented by the independently-owned music and events company, Untitled Group.
Beyond The Valley will take place at Barunah Plains in Hesse, Victoria from December 28 – January 1. The festival is currently heading towards a sell-out, with tens of thousands of individual tickets and camping passes sold within the first week of the on-sale period, according to Megatix.
The partnership has benefitted from the ticketing firm’s quick checkout flow, which has streamlined the ticket purchasing process for festival-goers. By leveraging Apple/Google Pay as well as post-purchase data capture, Megatix has seen the average transaction time fall to less than a minute.
Western Australia-based Megatix reported that it has also seen a significant reduction in the number of abandoned sales in cart, thanks to the fast checkout flow.
“We chose Megatix as our ticketing partner as they offer exceptional functionality tailored for large-scale events and allow us to utilise the latest in ticketing technologies. Their platform facilitates a fast checkout process for our customers while ensuring we capture essential customer data seamlessly,” said Untitled Group director and co-founder Christian Serrao.
“Megatix’s robust reporting capabilities and adaptable features have enabled us to automate various aspects of our operations, enhancing overall efficiency across multiple segments of our event management.”
Chief executive of Megatix Roshan Odhavji added: “We’re super excited to see our technology being utilised to create so many efficiencies in event sales, management and operations at such a large scale, having a direct impact on event organisers and the way they run their events.”
