Wenew has announced its intention to join Malaysian platform GreenX Digital Asset Exchange, to launch its first token offering in collaboration with digital finance company First Bullion.
Established in 2021, Wenew has experience in event planning, marketing and ticketing across events in Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia.
It has worked with events including Siam Songkran Music Festival, Web3 Festival Cryptopocket Unthemed Market, Nagomi Pastel Art Workshop and NFT Children Creative Art Award, Smash Da House Concert, FOMO Asia, and Wired Music Week.
Wenew claims its VPass solution is Asia’s first Smart ticket issuance and trading platform that allows organisers of large-scale events such as music festivals, concerts, sporting events and exhibitions to tokenise and trade tickets.
“In the creative expanse of the metaverse, Smart tickets serve as a bridge linking the physical and digital worlds. With identity and digital property rights verification, its applications extend to social, gaming, entertainment, and educational domains, showcasing limitless possibilities,” explained Wenew in a statement.
