Ticketek has partnered with the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) and will provide its portfolio of ticketing, technology, data and insights solutions.

The deal will see the TEG-owned platform become the exclusive ticketing provider for all football matches hosted by Singapore’s national football governing body. This means that Ticketek will handle all ticketing for games played by Singapore’s men’s, women’s and youth national football teams, as well as the Young Lions in the Singapore Premier League.

“This partnership was born out of TEG’s previous successes in the region promoting top tier sporting teams including Liverpool FC, FC Bayern Munich, Tottenham Hotspur, and the Lion City Sailors as part of 2023’s Singapore Festival of Football,” said TEG Group’s chief executive, Geoff Jones.

“This partnership is further evidence of TEG’s ambition to support the game’s growth at all levels and become the largest promoter of international football in Singapore.”

Fans will benefit from a choice of delivery method, including the ability to access their tickets digitally through the Ticketek app.

General manager of TEG Asia, Timothy Ho, added: “This dynamic partnership will give fans access to Ticketek’s user-friendly interfaces, mobile access, and a range of ticket delivery options. Attendees can now expect a hassle-free booking process that ensures they never miss their favourite games.”

The partnership will begin with the FIFA World Cup qualifier between Singapore and China on March 21 at the 55,000-capacity Singapore National Stadium. Fans are able to register for tickets for the fixture via the waitlist and receive pre-sale access.

“We are delighted to partner with a global ticketing provider in Ticketek, and through this partnership, provide Singapore football fans with a seamless ticketing experience,” said FAS general secretary, Yazeen Buhari.

“We will also be able to leverage Ticketek’s active dataset of football fans across Southeast Asia and their leading-edge mobile technologies including fan-to-fan ticket sharing.

“We are confident that this partnership will help us create a great match experience for our fans as they make new memories in stadiums across the country.”
