Australian ticketing company Intix has just opened a new office in London as it begins its international expansion.

Intix, which provides white label and membership solutions for sporting organisations, is heading outside of Australia and targeting expansion in further markets. It has worked with the likes of the Australian Football League state leagues, National Basketball League, A-League Soccer, Super Netball League clubs, Squash Australia, and Hockey One.

The London office will be headed up by UK general manager Damien Griffiths, previously chief digital officer at Kent College Dubai.

“Sporting events in particular have enjoyed switching over to INTIX as our automations significantly reduce administration time, our integrations provide a better overall experience for them and their fans, and we are helping organisations drive more revenue through our innovative real-time marketing function,” said founder and chief executive of Intix, Alex Grant.

“By opening our office in London, we will be able to support more companies with the best possible ticketing solution and fan experience for their events.”

Intix first worked on international events in 2021 at the Dubai Rugby 7s event and has since partnered with events in the UK, USA, Europe, and New Zealand.

“We empower events with the tools they need to improve efficiency, increase value for money, and better understand the full customer experience and journey,” said UK general manager Damien Griffiths.

“I am thrilled to be appointed in the role and am confident that INTIX will soon be just as well known in UK sport as it is in Australia.”

Grant has high hopes for the London office and believes Griffiths is the right person for the job.

“We are confident that Damien’s leadership and expertise will be instrumental in further strengthening our position in the UK market and exceeding our customers’ expectations,” he said.

“I will be heading to the UK in April to meet with current and future clients and ensure our new operations are set up to the high standard we hold ourselves to.”
