Acrisure Arena in Greater Palm Springs, California, has launched a new initiative to streamline and enhance the guest experience.
Those attending events at the 11,000-capacity venue (pictured) will be encouraged to pre-purchase their onsite parking online to avoid delays.
As an incentive, fans will save 20% when booking before 11:59pm the evening before their event day. However, guests will still be able to purchase onsite parking upon entry to the car park if needed.
“We are always looking for ways to enhance the experience for our guests,” said John Page, senior vice-president of Acrisure Arena and American Hockey League side, Coachella Valley Firebirds.
“Ensuring all guests have pre-purchased their parking not only provides convenience but also helps us better manage the flow of traffic, making it easier for everyone to enjoy their time at the arena.”
It is hoped the move will improve the guest experience, as high attendances can often mean looking for a parking space and delaying entry into the arena. Additionally, pre-purchasing parking will improve traffic flow, further boosting the guest experience.
Acrisure Arena opened in 2022, and has been privately funded by Oak View Group, Live Nation and National Hockey League team, the Seattle Kraken. The Coachella Valley Firebirds AHL team is an affiliate of the Kraken.
