Co-op Live, the new arena set to open in the UK city of Manchester, has signed up Seat Unique as a partner in premium hospitality sales.

The 23,500-capacity venue is scheduled to open this month, with Seat Unique to become its official premium hospitality sales platform. Fans will be able to purchase hospitality offerings online at any time through the Seat Unique platform, to more than 120 annual events.

Fans will also be able to enjoy premium experiences across the year at Co-op Live thanks to 13 different clubs and lounges, which will include the soon-to-be-revealed 54-person Seat Unique Deck Suite.

“We are thrilled to partner with Co-op Live to redefine premium hospitality and bring fans closer to their favourite artists,” said Robin Sherry, chief executive and founder of Seat Unique.

“Through our innovative technology and commitment to customer satisfaction, we will create a safe and seamless customer experience, enabling fans to enjoy premium hospitality like never before. Fans are wanting more from live events than ever, and by partnering with Co-op Live we’ll ensure that those experiences are unforgettable.”

In February, it was revealed that local legend and comedian Peter Kay had been booked to open the indoor arena.

Gary Roden, executive director and general manager of Co-op Live, added: “We’re proud to partner with Seat Unique to elevate the fan experience even further. Our partnership is rooted in a shared vision of putting the fan at the heart of everything we do and both Co-op Live and Seat Unique are dedicated to making high-end hospitality effortlessly available, ensuring that unforgettable memories are made night in and night out.”

Earlier this week, Seat Unique announced it had been backed by athlete-led venture capital firm, The Players Fund. The UK-based business was established by elite sportspeople including cricketer Ben Stokes, athlete Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill and footballer Chris Smalling.
