Tuskegee University in Alabama has launched an online sports ticketing platform.
Guests can purchase general admission tickets to all Tuskegee athletic sporting events through the HomeTown Fan app from HomeTown Ticketing. Fans can also purchase tickets online through the Golden Tigers’ website.
Digital scanning at entrance gates will also help to avoid long lines and delays before games.
HomeTown Ticketing is a provider of digital ticketing and event software for schools, districts, conferences and associations.
The platform recently partnered with Bluffton University to power its ticketed Bluffton alumni, athletics, music and theatre events.
Earlier this year, HomeTown Ticketing secured a $75m (£68m/€77m) investment from private equity firm, Nexa Equity. Its platform means customers are able to manage events, sell reserved seating online and oversee gate admissions.
Event staff are also able to set up custom box offices, manage and report payments and communicate with attendees through several channels. Those looking to purchase tickets can do so directly from the institution’s website through an embedded online ticket box office or via HomeTown’s app.
