Accesso acquires theme park ticketing leader VGS

Accesso Technology Group has acquired VGS, the ticketing and visitor management system provider whose clients include some of the world's biggest theme parks.

Following the deal, VGS’s SnApp platform will be rebranded as Accesso Horizon and operate as part of the Accesso product set. VGS’ global team, who are based in offices in Milan, Dubai, Singapore and Orlando, will join Accesso.

VGS, which is headquartered in Milan and was founded in 2011, supports a client roster of more than 100 venues with the selling, distribution and redemption of tickets and entitlements. As well as working with leading theme park brands in the US, Dubai, Singapore, Japan and China, VGS supports zoos, observation towers and other attractions in a total of 11 countries.

Hosted either on-site or in the cloud, VGS’s unified platform offers customers an open API to enable direct integration with other systems. Real-time intelligence allows operators to optimise sales with dynamic pricing, availability management and sales channel management. Multi-venue support allows for cross-promotion and cross-packaging of offers, while the solution provides linguistic support for venues across the globe.
