Piletilevi Group acquires majority stake in and

Piletilevi Group, a ticketing platform that operates across Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia, has acquired a majority stake in Romanian ticketing company 

The Group has acquired 80% of the company, while the remaining shares will be held onto by the current shareholders of The Romanian platform will still continue to be led by current chief executive Andreea Pop.

Piletilevi Group’s acquisition sees Estonia’s largest ticketing company expand outside of the Baltics.

Chief executive Sven Nuutmann said: “We see excellent cooperation opportunities with the founders and management of for growing the business. We can create synergies and offer a better service to both Romanian and Baltic event organizers as well as ticket buyers.

“We are thrilled to bring the latest software solutions of the ticketing world to the Romanian market. We plan to contribute to the development of organisers’ self-service environment and analytical reports and offer event organisers the best marketing opportunities based on our long-term experience.”

Piletilevi Group has also acquired a majority stake in, a Czech ticketing platform. The move means the Group will now have a presence in Poland, Slovakia and Germany.

Nuutmann added: “ has an excellent young and professional team with whom we can start implementing a common growth strategy.”

With the acquisition of majority stakes in and, Piletilevi Group will increase its issued tickets to 15 million each year, and its ticket turnover to €210m (£181m/$232m) in 2023. In the next three years, the company hopes to increase ticket sales to €300m.
