Afterparty launches AI artist engagement product

Afterparty is to launch its new AI fan engagement product after completing a $5m funding round.

The Los Angeles-headquartered business, whose technology enables connections between artists and fans, has finalised a strategic growth round led by Blockchange Ventures. The group has now raised a total of $12m, with Paris Hilton’s 11:11 Media among those to have previously invested.

Afterparty, whose platform already includes live streaming and 1:1 chats, IRL community events and collectibles, will now deliver AI voice, photo, and video messaging. Afterparty AI is designed to allow creators to scale up personalised fan interactions while activating fans to generate one-of-a-kind images and videos that live as collectibles on the blockchain.

The new platform builds on an existing business through which fans can engage with creators such as musicians Lauv and Jaden Hossler, global podcaster Tana Mongeau and Tiktok influencer Nicolle Figueroa.

Creative freedom

Debuted in 2021, Afterparty has expanded from a token-gated fan access and collectibles platform to an interactive destination delivering the tools and experiences designed to enable creators to control fan relationships and revenue.
