Secutix is set to provide ticketing technology support for Team GB House at next year’s Olympic Games in Paris.
Team GB House, a hospitality offering that acts as the British delegation’s home-from-home at an Olympic Games, will be based at the Pavillon d’Armenonville for Paris 2024.
It will be the first time the hospitality venue opens to the general public, offering fans the chance to hear from, and meet with current and past Olympians. Guests will also be able to watch the action on big screens and enjoy live medal celebrations, live entertainment, giveaways, and British food and beverage options.
The agreement will see Team GB House utilise the S-360 and Tixngo solutions from Secutix, with Tixngo providing a Team GB House branded wallet for digital tickets.
“Team GB House will play a valuable role during Paris 2024, bringing together athletes, fans and our commercial partners under one roof to celebrate the nation’s achievements,” said Andy Anson, chief executive of the British Olympic Association.
“It’s a fantastic space and it is important for us to have a first-class ticketing delivery partner to match. Secutix provides a suite of products that meet our various ticketing needs and their experienced team will be on hand to support us throughout.”
A limited number of tickets will be available to purchase for each day of the Games, with discounted rates offered for children. The general sale will open on November 7, with fans able to sign up now to gain priority access.
David Hornby, Secutix UK and Ireland managing director, added: “We’re really proud to support the Team GB House in their objectives for the Games and make the ticketing experience as seamless and easy as possible for all parties. We look forward to a successful summer in Paris.”
