San Diego’s new 7,500-capacity multi-purpose venue, Frontwave Arena, has partnered with AXS.
The ticketing platform will provide its full suite of solutions, with a focus on mobile ticketing, fan experience and distribution opportunities. The arena is slated to open in the summer of 2024.
AXS will implement its AXS Mobile ID, while ticket-holders will benefit from FanAccount, where they will be able to view and manage all AXS tickets for Frontwave Arena. The AXS App will allow music fans to search for and purchase tickets in one place, while also using the app to gain entry.
AXS Official Marketplace will feature authenticated tickets, with guaranteed protection from fraudulent merchants and transactions. Ahead of the venue’s grand opening, further integrations will be made to offer fans premium hospitality, group ticketing and parking opportunities.

AXS is already a partner of Major Arena Soccer League’s (MASL) San Diego Sockers, which is due to make Frontwave Arena its new home. The side will be the venue’s first tenant team from the 2024-2025 season.
