Coldplay to launch infinity tickets ahead of Asia dates

Coldplay are set to release bonus ‘infinity tickets’ for the upcoming ‘Music of the Spheres World Tour’ Asia dates in 2024.

The British band announced the tickets alongside the support acts for their performances in the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand in January.

These dates make up the additional Asia performances announced earlier this year. Coldplay have already performed in Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia and Malaysia.

The ‘Music of the Spheres World Tour’ first kicked off in March 2022 and has since sold over nine million tickets so far, according to Lifestyle Asia.

Coldplay are set to play two nights in Manila on January 19 and 20, followed by six nights in Singapore between January 23-31.

The band will then travel to Bangkok for two nights on February 3 and 4.

A lengthy break will stretch before the band, who also recently announced additional dates across Australia and New Zealand towards the end of 2024.

Infinity tickets are priced at roughly $20 (£16/€19) each and must be purchased in pairs. The limited number of seats could be located in any part of the venue. These tickets were introduced to make sure Coldplay’s ‘Music of the Spheres World Tour’ was accessible to as many people as possible.

Filipino R&B singer-songwriter Jikamarie will support the band’s concerts at the Philippine Arena, while Thai singer-songwriter Valentina Ploy will feature at Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok.

Singapore’s RRiley and Jasmine Sokko, as well as Indonesia’s Jinan Laetitia, will support Coldplay for their six nights at Singapore Nation Stadium. Laetitia will perform across all nights, while Sokko will play on January 23 and 26, and RRiley on January 27, 30 and 31.
