The Parramatta Eels Australian rugby league team and franchise cricket side Sydney Thunder have created a new Eels x Thunder membership for fans.

Both teams call Western Sydney home, with the Eels playing at the 30,000-capacity CommBank Stadium and the Thunder playing at the 23,500-capacity Spotless Stadium.

Sydney Thunder features in Australia’s domestic Twenty20 cricket competition, the Big Bash League, while the Eels play in the National Rugby League (NRL).

The new membership offering will cost A$110 (£57/€67/$72) for adults and will include general admission access to an Eels and Thunder home game, as well as member packages and benefits for both clubs.

“We know a lot of our fans also have a keen interest in cricket and this membership offer gives them an opportunity to enjoy another sport during the NRL off-season,” said Parramatta Eels’ head of consumer Tom Jamsek.

“Partnering with another Western Sydney sporting code gives both brands exposure to diverse and passionate fan bases and an opportunity to reach new audiences through live sport.”
