Tomorrowland, a large-scale electronic dance music festival that is held annually in Belgium, has announced plans to bring a new event to Medellín, Colombia, in May.

Produced in collaboration with Colombia-based Breakfast Club, a production and promotion group headquartered in Medellín, the two-day event is set to welcome more than 20,000 visitors.

CORE will feature a stage set up within the Jardín Botánico de Medellín, which is located in the heart of Colombia’s second-largest city.

Registration for pre-sale access is now open, with the pre-sale window held from February 6-8.

The brand new CORE stage was revealed recently in the jungle of Tulum, and once it has proved its purpose at the new festival, will travel further down South America. Two other stages will also be introduced, which have been designed and crafted in-house at Tomorrowland. The creative team has been working on the stage and visuals for the Medellín event for over a year.

The CORE stage was originally introduced in Mexico, and will continue to pop up around the globe, hosting international house and techno artists. The stage will also be utilised during the two weekends that will make up the 2024 edition of Tomorrowland in Belgium.

Tomorrowland was first held in 2005 and is staged in the town of Boom. Some 400,000 people travel from more than 200 countries to experience the festival. Tickets sell out in minutes with those lucky enough to secure a spot able to enjoy music across 16 different stages.

Celebrating 20 years of Tomorrowland, Tomorrowland Belgium 2024 will take place across two weekends from July 19-21 and July 26-28.
