Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, Canada, is set to adopt Ticketmaster as its ticketing platform, which will be phased in over the summer.

The venue is home to Canadian Hockey League (CHL) team, the Halifax Mooseheads, and professional lacrosse side, the Halifax Thunderbirds. It also hosts events across the year.

In a letter to its guests, the venue said: “For 45 years, Scotiabank Centre has been proud to deliver an amazing lineup of events and the very best fan experience for our community and fans.

“To be the best, we have to work with the best. That’s why we are proud to announce our new partnership with Ticketmaster, which will become our new exclusive ticketing provider for Scotiabank Centre.”

According to an article from Canadian news outlet CBC, the venue had been partnered with Paciolan, a ticketing and technology provider, since 2020.

The letter added: “With an easy-to-use system, premium security, safety and fan engagement features, Ticketmaster will help us to create an even better fan experience at Scotiabank Centre.

“Our experienced box office team will continue to provide customer service and support your ticketing needs using all the features that Ticketmaster offers. This transition will take place over the coming weeks, and we will be in touch with you if there are impacts to your existing tickets.”
