Not content with only dominating the performance world, Taylor Swift has racked up more than $100m (£82m/€95m) worth of advance ticket sales for her Eras Tour concert film.

AMC Theatres Distribution and AMC Entertainment revealed that as of October 4, the TAYLOR SWIFT | THE ERAS TOUR concert film had reached the $100m mark for advanced ticket sales globally.

The film is set to be released on October 13 in 8,500 cinemas across 100 countries around the world.

Early last month, it took less than 24 hours for the concert film to shatter AMC’s US record for the highest ticket sales revenue during a single day in the entertainment company’s 103-year history.

Sales are particularly strong across premium large-screen formats such as IMAX, Dolby Cinema and PRIME at AMC, as those that missed out on the real thing look to experience as close to the original event as possible.

AMC and its sub-distribution partners Variance Films in the US, Cineplex in Canada, Cinepolis in Mexico and Central America, as well as Trafalgar Releasing outside of Noth America, confirmed that more the 8,500 cinemas will show the film after responding to operator interest.

In the US, the concert film will play at least four showtimes per day on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays across all AMC locations. It will also feature at every ODEON Cinema in Europe.
