Bengaluru, India provided the backdrop for recent rock festival Bandland, which took place at the city’s Embassy International Riding School Ground.

The two-day event was produced and promoted by BookMyShow Live, the live entertainment experiential division of BookMyShow.

Bengaluru also demonstrated its love of music through the festival, with art installations inspired by the city, a fusion of cuisines, and mixology.

The festival featured performances from the likes of The War on Drugs and from headliners, the Goo Goo Dolls.

Further acts included Pacifist and the Indian debut of Amyl and the Sniffers, as well as a headline show from Deep Purple.

The line-up was completed by homegrown bands such as The Earth Below, Parvaaz, SKRAT and Thermal And A Quarter.

Bandland took place on December 16-17 across two days and two stages, with 12 performances across the weekend.

In September, BookMyShow said its recently launched enterprise B2B2C Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) ticketing platform could transform the attractions and events landscape across South East Asia.

Bigtix was launched in 2022, and was utilised by this year’s Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix. The platform is currently live in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.

The service has been designed to provide operators with white-labelled control of their own ticketing, interface to value-added tools and allows collaborating with channel partners.
