Inclusive theatre

Disney Theatrical Productions has partnered with Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect), Sydney’s Capitol Theatre and Ticketmaster to offer a relaxed performance of ‘Beauty and the Beast’ on November 18. The inclusive performance will be tailored to support audience members that may need specific support. In November, ‘Beauty and the Best’ will also host Audio Described and Auslan (Australian sign language) Interpreted performances.

The battle against scalping

True Tickets, a provider of digital ticket delivery, has announced a strategic partnership with Riverside Theatre in Vero Beach, Florida. The collaboration will see Riverside Theatre utilise True Tickets’ features, which will allow patrons to experience easy ticket transfers while remaining within the theatre’s true audience, as opposed to scalpers.

Data and insight

UK venue Plymouth Pavilions has partnered with Ticketek to provide ticketing, technology, data and insight solutions. The 4,000-capacity venue has hosted artists such as Ed Sheeran, Kylie Minogue, Coldplay, Oasis and more.
