Interactive venue experiences company 3D Digital Venue has announced its expansion into the US market with its Group Sales Portal.

It claims that the tool is transforming the group ticket buying experience and is said to drive revenue growth for sports teams and organisations.

It can be used on both mobile and desktop devices, and is designed to enable users to secure their tickets in a few steps.

First, users select the quantity of tickets and price range, before the platform identifies the best seats within the criteria. Users are then shown 3D views from each seat, before further selected group benefits are displayed, ahead of a “seamless” checkout.

“3D Digital Venue is committed to empowering both teams and fans with cutting-edge solutions,” said Steve Stonehouse, head of US markets at 3D Digital Venue.

“The Group Sales Portal is a testament to this commitment, demonstrating its ability to enhance the ticketing experience, streamline transactions, and ultimately drive revenue for sports teams and organizations across the US.”

The portal prioritises the user experience with a focus on intuitiveness and clarity. The 3D seat views are intended to offer customers an understanding of the stadium environment to allow them to make informed decisions.

Major League Baseball team the Chicago Cubs implemented the Group Sales Portal in January of last year and have witnessed more than $2m (£1.5m/€1.8m) in sales as a result.
