AmptUp seeks to help musicians with new payment system

AmptUp has officially introduced a new payouts calculator to its tool kit for independent venues.

Chief executive Holly Hagerman is aiming for the booking platform to have greater transparency for live show documents and information.

The new technology will help musicians and venue owners to negotiate payment at the start of a booking inquiry to prevent any post-show confusion.

St Andrews partners with Tixserve

St Andrews Links Trust has enlisted digital ticketing platform Tixserve in a bid to enhance the visitor experience at its golf courses.

Central to the project is the launch of the Home of Golf Tickets app which is said to serve as a gateway to digital entitlements for visitors including redemption of golf bookings, golf academy access, and food and drink vouchers.

It will also be able to operate offline which is key for the Trust due to its open environment.

‍“Tixserve is delighted to working with St Andrews Links Trust, an iconic institution synonymous with tradition and excellence,” said Tixserve managing director Patrick Kirby.

“I’m confident that this collaboration will not only redefine how customers connect with this legendary Scottish destination but it will also open up similar business opportunities for Tixserve in other geographical markets.”

Ipswich Town set to launch ticket resale platform

Ipswich Town FC has confirmed the trial of a resale platform for season ticket holders who are unable to attend individual games at Portman Road.

It is an effort to offer season ticket holders increased flexibility when they are unable to attend matches, therefore increasing the opportunity for supporters to attend and reducing the number of empty seats.

The platform is due to be launched for the home game against Southampton on April 1, with season ticket holders who also have club memberships for the 2023-24 campaign able to sell their seats.
