Our weekly tech round-up from the world of ticketing and associated industries…

Brilliantcrypto

Tokyo-headquartered Brilliantcrypto has partnered with French Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain as an ‘official premium partner’. A closed beta test is set to be held on August 15 for Brilliantcrypto, which is a new blockchain game where players can play-to-earn through mining gemstones. As a thank you to participating players that successfully clear the objective of the test, they will be entered into a lottery to win two VIP tickets and travel to see Paris Saint-Germain play.

The move towards sustainable events

Eventify, a start-up in event technology, is set to introduce eco-friendly solutions that will help curate successful events that are good for businesses and the environment. Eventify will help by reducing and eliminating the carbon footprint generated by events. For example, the mobile conference and event app helps to reduce paper waste, such as event schedules, maps, speaker bios and contact information. The platform’s online event ticketing feature will also eliminate the need for printed tickets, while paperless event badges also helps to eliminate further waste.

Ticketmaster introduces Ignite

Ticketmaster has introduced a new platform that will enable partners to easily customise their mobile app to support their own fans’ ticketing experience. Ignite has been introduced to create a customised experience for Ticketmaster partners, from how a fan discovers upcoming events and purchases tickets, to scanning and beyond.
