Travel booking platform AirAsia MOVE, formerly known as Superapp, has introduced a new ticketing platform in the form of MOVETIX.

The service complements tickets to global events and activities with flights, hotels, rides and more through the one app. MOVETIX claims it offers tickets to more than 10,000 events, and is led by Hassan Choudhury who will still serve in his role as chief executive of RedRecords – a joint venture between AirAsia and Universal Music.

“Entertainment is an essential part of travel, and Hassan’s role in RedRecords and MOVETIX aligns perfectly with our commitment to deliver the best value in travel and to develop talents in Asean,”
said AirAsia MOVE chief executive Nadia Omer.

“With MOVETIX, our app users can now book their entire trip seamlessly including flights, hotels and land transport through AirAsia ride, meals via the Dine-in option, all within one single cohesive
ecosystem.”

In addition with the app’s launch, MOVETIX was also announced as the official ticketing partner of the StarHub Football Festival which is set to take place from April 20-21 in Our Tampines Hub in Singapore.

The event features a match between an English Premier League legends team and a Singapore legends team.

Players such as David James, Dwight Yorke, and Teddy Sheringham are all due to compete.

As the official ticketing partner for the event, those interested can purchase their tickets for SGD60 (£35/$45/€40) for adults, SGD30 for over 60s and children under 12, and a family package for SGD150 which covers admission for two adults and two children.

The tickets will be available exclusively on MOVETIX from January 30 to February 5, with a portion of the sales to be donated to the Dyslexic Association and HCA Hospice Care.
